Volunteer Meeting
It's that time of year again!!! Rescuing Families, Inc. is holding their first volunteer meeting of 2024! This meeting is open to everyone over 18!
We are looking for people who are not afraid to roll their sleeves up and get a little dirty! Our charity is very active and hard working! If this is something that seems like a fit for you, come down to our meeting and get some more info about our organization and meet our current volunteers!
You will find out who we are, what we do & what exciting things we have in store for 2024!
The meeting is on Wednesday, Jan 24th at 7pm. It will be held at VFW Post 2718, 68 Lincoln Rd Franklin Square.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting!

Winnings are as follows:
1st Qtr: $200
Half Time Final: $300
Reverse Half Time: $75
3rd Qtr: $200
Final: $450

$100 per space
Winnings are as follows:

Half Time Final: $1000
Reverse Half Time: $250
3rd Qtr: $500
Final: $2500

We will be updating the grids and posting every few hours on our Facebook page so please be sure to check there for up to the minute updates!
3rd annual Night at the Races Event

COME AND HAVE LOTS OF FUN AT OUR 3RD ANNUAL NIGHT AT THE RACES FUNDRAISER!!! THERE WILL BE A LIVE MINIATURE RACETRACK! YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO "OWN" A HORSE FOR ONE RACE OR ALL OF THE RACES!

THERE WILL BE CASH PRIZES ALONG WITH A LIVE PRIZE AUCTION BROUGHT TO YOU BY LONG ISLAND SILENT AUCTIONS, A WHEEL OF PRIZES, 50/50 RAFFLE & A KENTUCKY DERBY HAT CONTEST (WEAR YOUR FINEST HAT TO WIN A PRIZE!)
TICKET PRICE INCLUDES A BUFFET DINNER, BEER, WINE AND SODA, DESSERT AND COFFEE.WE WILL BE SELLING GROUP TABLES OF 8-9(9 PEOPLE PER TABLE IS MAX). Amazing vendors, food trucks, WBAB played music and we had some fun give-a-ways, and great deals at the Rescuing Families Charity Yard Sale tents, we held a NON-Perishable food drive for our local veterans with the help of VFW 2718 Auxiliary!
Haunted Cemetery
October 29 & 31, 2023
Rescuing Families Haunted Cemetery was back this year, it was bigger and creepier than ever! We have also added 2 walk-through nights so you can get a look at the cemetery and all its inhabitants!
